AeroGuard implements several safety management systems and operations to ensure we maintain a safety-first environment.

From our expertly maintained fleet and airline-style dispatching procedures to our solo-flight safety training, flight risk assessment, and safety stop programs, our commitment to safety is built into every aspect while being reinforced on a daily basis and audited regularly.

Expert Maintenance Team

AeroGuard’s on-site Maintenance Team Sets a Higher Standard my expertly maintaining our aircraft and ensure that planes are in good condition prior to flight, keeping our students and instructors safe and progressing in training. This professional and expert staff work around the clock and have been recognized by the FAA with the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for years.

 

Duty CFI

AeroGuard’s Duty CFI is a quality control check that monitors the safety and regulatory compliance of students conducting solo flights, acting as the students’ co-pilot on the ground. These individuals are experienced flight instructors who double check the students’ instructor’s endorsement, review flight plans, check the weather and risk assessments, to ensure everything is in order.

 

Safety Management System (SMS)

AeroGuard’s SMS is based on an operating excellence and continuous improvement model that uses statistical process control. AeroGuard is committed to develop, implement, and improve safety standards that will provide our students with high-quality training while fostering a safe learning environment at all times.

 

Safety Stop Program

AeroGuard’s Safety Stop Program is a company-wide policy that encourages all students and company personnel to put a ‘STOP’ to operations whenever a risk to safety is observed. We encourage open participation, sharing of information, reporting of hazards and challenges to the status quo in order to continuously manage and improve the safety of our operations.
