AeroGuard Partner SkyWest Airlines Visits Arizona Campus with Aircraft and Senior Management
AeroGuard Flight Training Center recently welcomed one of our airline partners, SkyWest Airlines, to visit our flight school at our Phoenix, Arizona campus with one of their E175 aircraft. During this event, AeroGuard student and instructor pilots were able to tour the aircraft, sit in the cockpit, talk with the pilots, and network with SkyWest senior management, including their SVP Flight Operations, Tracy Gallo.
Tracy Gallo also presented to AeroGuard students and instructors, as well as AeroGuard’s Arizona State University students enrolled in their Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Management Technology degree program. These individuals got to learn more about SkyWest, the industry, and how to set themselves up for success in their future commercial airline pilot careers.
SkyWest Airlines is the largest regional airline in the U.S., flying for American, United, Delta, and Alaska Airlines. Through AeroGuard’s Pilot Pathway Program in partnership with SkyWest, Cadets receive Guaranteed Interviews with the airline to start their professional careers. After gaining experience and flight time at SkyWest, these pilots then receive Guaranteed Interviews with three major airlines: Delta, United, and Alaska Airlines.
AeroGuard enjoyed providing this valuable networking environment for our Pilot Pathway Program students and instructors, allowing them to connect directly with SkyWest Senior Management and hiring team, and learn more about the aircraft they’ll transition to after building their 1,000 – 1,500 hours as instructors at AeroGuard.
