Hodges University Program
Flight Train with AeroGuard While You Obtain Your Bachelor’s Degree with Hodges University online.
AeroGuard Flight Training Center and Hodges University have partnered to offer students a way to receive high-quality flight training while earning their Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Aviation at the same time.
Through this partnership, students will be able to complete their flight training with AeroGuard as part of their accredited bachelor’s degree which will be completed online, or in person with Hodges University. As part of an accredited bachelor’s degree, students are eligible to use Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) to help pay for their training and education costs.
While attending AeroGuard, students can complete their Bachelor of Science degree and obtain their Private Pilot through Commercial Licenses in less than 3 years. Students can also elect to include their Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) ratings for degree transfer credit as well. Additionally, students will be eligible for scholarships and grants through Hodges University, in addition to other forms of federal and private student loans.
Hodges University Flight Training Program Details
The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Aviation, from Hodges University, offers students flight training through 4 certifications and ratings in FAA Part 141 locations.
As a Flight Training Affiliate for Hodges University, students are able to complete their flight training portion of their Bachelor of Science at AeroGuard, while completing all other courses 100% online. Alternatively, for students at our Fort Myers Flight School, they can opt to take their classes with Hodges University in person on campus. The certificates and ratings included in the Hodges University Program are Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Single Engine, and Commercial Pilot Multi Engine.
Certified Flight Instructor certifications are not included within the Hodges University program; however, students may elect to complete these ratings through AeroGuard for additional transfer course credit with Hodges University.
